Again- welcome to Detective Inspector, a pulp cover blog, where artists of various styles, backgrounds and redraw//redesign old pulp covers. Easy enough? Yeah!
SUBMISSIONS: We do take submissions and are always looking for new things to post! There are many blogs like this out there but I was hoping to get a lot of feedback and art from the tumblr art community since it has such a great variety of what there is to offer something like this. So PLEASE!!! Tell your friends!
GUIDE LINES: When submitting- be sure to include the previous cover and the newly drawn so that views can compare and contrast old and new. ALSO DONT FORGET TO INCLUDE YOUR SITE/TUMBLR.
Try to stick to the original with in reason- but take as many liberties as needs be. Covers don’t have to be Pulp or Detective stores (as shown in examples) but just try to keep the references as more dated so there’s more of a refreshing take on everything.
